I was pleasantly surprised when i found the Russel Hobbs colour controlled came without the usual temperature dial -instead it was a changeable coloured light that went from blue-coldest to red-hottest . Easy to fill with water and glides along my mountain of white work shirts in no time at all-leaving them all wrinkle free with perfect creases .

I brought this iron after having to refund my previous iron and I absolutely love it. It’s got a present temperature setting that is indicated but it’s light indicator, constant flow of steam regardless of which setting you chose. Very easy to use and well designed.

Great iron. As it's digital there are no in between temps. It's either 1,2 or 3. The steam pressure is good, it doesn't spit water out in use and if you forget to unplug it,( my trick) it knocks off relatively quickly. All in all a good iron.

Overall a great iron and great value for money. One thing which continues to baffle me is the colour coding for the heat- colours are red, green, purple and orange and I can’t fogure out what they represent!

Hands down the best iron I’ve ever had. Large water tank. Long cable. It irons beautifully. Ironing is now a pleasure for me and not a chore. Highly recommend.

Works really well has a bit of weight in it. Ideal for those who like heavy irons. Great safety feature. Doesn't just get hot when turned on. One click temperature change. Colour changes to match temperature setting so a quick look at handle and you know the heat setting instant. This is a bargain price advertised elsewhere for more than double the price.

This is a must have iron , I can not fault it in any way. Heats up quick, light to handle and long cord to get around the ironing board .. brilliant product .

Great features, Colour coded temperature, turns off if not used for 8 minutes, and bleeps to let you know this, the extra long cable is a great advantage, the steam boost works great on the stubborn creases, I don’t think there’s any down side to this iron it’s loads better than my last one, it looks good and at a price that won’t break the bank

This iron is light-weight and has a good length wire. The digital temperature setting is easy to use and the water and steam features are good. My only negative is the steam function does not work on setting below 3 which would have been helpful. A lot of clothing stipulates ironing at no higher than 2 and without steam you need a little more pressure to get the creases out.

I bought this iron just for a spare while my generator iron went for repair omg this iron is fantastic and irons so good even stubborn creases that were items too long in dryer I’m beginning to think maybe bigger irons arnt that good afterall. I highly recommend anyone buying this great iron and so cheaply priced and colour coded heat is a fantastic way to know what temperature you are on

I cant see the dial on any other iron without putting my reading glasses on, this colour change handle indicating heat settings means no more glasses whilst ironing! For someone who doesn't like to iron I don't mind it with this iron! plenty of steam its brilliant!!!

The only criticism is the correlation between color coding on handle, and the lighting. The 'match' took a bit to understand, but, having said that, once you 'get it', you don't need to think about it, so not an ongoing issue - otherwise very happy with performance, so far...

Very pleased with this iron, really good for the price and really easy to use! I love that it has different settings for different fabrics so you don’t get confused knowing what setting to have it on and it’s colour coded. Would recommend

My old iron was on its last legs, and weirdly I enjoy ironing, so to get this one has put the pleasure back into something that was becoming a chore. Simple to use, great features, and very strong steam features.

I love this iron. My huge heat generating iron broke and I replaced it with this little gem. I love the colour changing light on the top of the iron to indicate the heat intensity - much better than a dial. Quite light and easy to use - wouldn’t go back to bulky heat generating iron. Only criticism - it could do with some way to easily store the wire.

Replacing previous same iron as it stopped working. Don’t feel (as with other electricals) that they last a lot of years any more so always go for mid price range. Really like the ease of use of this iron I.e. few clicks to get on steam which I use mostly & when I stop using it briefly it cools itself & light alerts me to this & couple of clicks quickly gets back to right temperature.
