This is a basic iron, which fools you into thinking it is more advanced with an electronic selection of the temperature settings, although the button to change the temperature is annoyingly where you rest your hand so it often gets knocked by mistake. Annoyingly it only seems to generate steam on the highest setting.

Purchased this as my other iron just stopped working. I am very happy with it and it is a delight to use. I can’t believe my Husband and I were just about arguing over who was going to do the next lot of ironing! Great colour, love the heat touch pad and would definitely recommend

Makes ironing very easy, Spray goes a good distance and has a decent capacity water tank. The only feature I would like is for the iron to switch off automatically when left for a few minutes. Bought a more expensive Russell & Hobbs iron and had to return it as it leaked. This one does the job perfectly.

I love this iron. Its so easy to use and you can set it to a really hot steam setting or something in between. It works well and has not only a spray button for cool water for harder to iron items but a nice shot of steam. Its quite light to handle and easy to work. Fill it with water and switch on and it heats up quickly.

Bought this iron as a replacement for my other one that I’d had for years. My first time buying Russell Hobbs but have to say I’m really pleased with it. After reading the instructions I found it really easy to use, the only thing I don’t like is there’s nowhere to store the cable ( my last one you could wrap it round the bottom of the iron).

The iron is light and easy to use has a large enough water tank to iron many items and has added steam burst and water spray for those stubborn creases. The temperature guide on top of the iron has a touch screen for ease of changing temperature. All in all a neat lightweight iron with great features at a really good price (discounted when bought). Would definitely recommend.

I purchased this iron when it was half price and i couldn’t fault it. The cable is of a good length and the lights to tell you the temperature are a great design feature. I would highly recommend this iron.

This iron is light-weight and has a good length wire. The digital temperature setting is easy to use and the water and steam features are good. My only negative is the steam function does not work on setting below 3 which would have been helpful. A lot of clothing stipulates ironing at no higher than 2 and without steam you need a little more pressure to get the creases out.

Really great iron at an amazing price. Used a few times and I really like it. So far I do think the digital settings are not really value add compared to analogue (digital button to choose temp rather and LED indicator colour, rather than a single heating light and moveable dial) but if it made it cheaper and (maybe) safer - then that's great. Would recommend.

Had the older version of this iron and loved it! Unfortunately our old one broke (after about 5 years of use) and I knew I had to get another. The colour code is easier than fiddling about with a dial and the iron heats up quick. The steam is also far better than on other irons. I now use it in my craft business too!

Iron's very well. Love the button feature with different temperature control settings. Has a large water tank which is great! It's a very well made iron, however I found it very heavy, and that's even before putting in any water! I have now got used to it, and happy with the way it works but it may not be suitable for everyone if you're looking for a light weight iron.

Replacing previous same iron as it stopped working. Don’t feel (as with other electricals) that they last a lot of years any more so always go for mid price range. Really like the ease of use of this iron I.e. few clicks to get on steam which I use mostly & when I stop using it briefly it cools itself & light alerts me to this & couple of clicks quickly gets back to right temperature.

Great iron. As it's digital there are no in between temps. It's either 1,2 or 3. The steam pressure is good, it doesn't spit water out in use and if you forget to unplug it,( my trick) it knocks off relatively quickly. All in all a good iron.

Works really well has a bit of weight in it. Ideal for those who like heavy irons. Great safety feature. Doesn't just get hot when turned on. One click temperature change. Colour changes to match temperature setting so a quick look at handle and you know the heat setting instant. This is a bargain price advertised elsewhere for more than double the price.

Argos is always my first port of call. Excellent iron at a very good price, cruises over my clothes leaving them crease free. Thanks Argos

Iron is at a relatively good price point, however a touch sensitive temperature control placed under the steam button often means when I try and steam my clothing I inadvertently press temperature increase. Very frustrating as I then have to cycle through the heat settings to get to the correct temperature setting again.

Overall a great iron and great value for money. One thing which continues to baffle me is the colour coding for the heat- colours are red, green, purple and orange and I can’t fogure out what they represent!

Great features, Colour coded temperature, turns off if not used for 8 minutes, and bleeps to let you know this, the extra long cable is a great advantage, the steam boost works great on the stubborn creases, I don’t think there’s any down side to this iron it’s loads better than my last one, it looks good and at a price that won’t break the bank

Bought this iron after my old one had packed in - really like the fact that the heat setting is digitally colour coded and so is very easy to use. The iron heats up quickly and the steam gives great coverage with a large water tank. Would definitely recommend this product.
