When this unit was unpacked I was disappointed to find it was a unit that had been returned for some reason. The headphones and accessories had no plastic bags as is usual for these units. The cables were wound loosely around the power supply and transmitter and the batteries were already fitted in the headphones. I would normally have returned these headphones but I required them urgently for an elderly person and they worked as expected.
The issue for me was taking off the battery cover.

The issue for me was taking off ant putting on the battery cover. It is of a very poor design indeed for Sony. I already own a pair of these phones and had them some years and was disappointed they had not changed the design of the cover. Overall not a bad set of phones but as usual well over priced from Sony.

Got these to watch TV in peace, to drown out external noise. Unfortunately the volume at its highest level wasn't enough for my purpose. I followed all the instructions for best use. They are very comfy to wear but there was also too much white noise, I returned and was given a full refund. I'll stick to wired headphones for now.

Have bought 3 of these now as they serve my purpose excellently. I am a shift worker who likes to go to sleep listening to the tv. I use earplugs to keep other noises at bay and these give sufficient volume to penetrate the ear plugs. I have a second home where I keep another set, and needed to buy the third set as, after 7 years, the 1st set started to give me problems.

I can wear these in every room and still hear the TV (bungalow). Very comfortable and light to wear; absolutely no problems with the sound quality, I'm puzzled that others say there are. The style is nice altho it irritates me that the high headband makes me look like a Teletubby. Husband works shifts and he sometimes has to go to bed at 20:30 pm. So I can still watch TV during evenings. Superb performance from them. Very satisfied.

Apart from the first charge cycle, the red charge light took two or more days before going out, even after only a few minutes use. Even when sitting beside the transmitter unit, the sound was hissy during quiet passages before eventually giving a loud crack and dying. Returned for a refund.

These headphones are shown as having an adjustable headband. The main headband, which should be ratcheted, is moulded and is NOT adjustable. The elastic headband underneath merely stretches, making the headphones bounce around on your head if you move around too much. Eventually I found that the earpieces ended up sliding down below my ears. A shame, as the 100m range was just what I was looking for. Can't comment on the sound quality as I returned them due to the fault with the headband.

This product is excellent. Easy to set up and use and very clear sound quality. The only negative I can find is they take a long time to charge up but I charge mine up overnight and then it isn't a huge problem. Very pleased with this sony item and would recommend it to anyone. It's great if you're watching tv and need to nip out of the room as you dont miss any of the speech...Great...

I bought these mainly for use watching TV, in a small shared flat. I do not want to disturb my partner sleeping, whilst watching TV late in the evening. These fulfil that purpose ideally. With a few tweaks the quality sound obtained is very good; sound does not 'leak', and I don't miss a thing broadcast.

These headphones are very comfortable and light I wear them all the time when I am watching TV they don't give me neck pain the way my last pair did the sound is excellent and you can walk all around the house and no interference they get a well done for the design very easy to recharge I recommend these headphones.

Keen to try, I inserted 2 standard AAA batteries, switched one unit to the same channel as the other, made the connections and: music of a quality to more than satisfy me. No interference and all leads are of a sensible length. Extremely pleased.

I bought them as my hearing is not so good and high volume does not necessarily mean clarity. With these headphones I have clarity and should I need to go elsewhere in the house I can still follow what Is happening on the TV . Yes they do the job I require of them very well.

I am pleased with these headphones and the sound is great. They are more bulky than the previous Sony ones I had and there is no swivel adjustment on the earpieces now so they are not quite so comfortable as the old ones. However, overall they are good value for money and help me to listen toTV with my own volume control seperate from the television loudspeakers.

I don’t like them. Unless I put them on wrong or something. They have this horrible bit that goes on the head, they’re just weird. So be mindful when buying them - make sure you know how they look and stuff. Another downside is that there’s too much involved for when you have to charge them. It’s annoying so I returned mine. Definitely not worth the price
