Fed up with my old XLR mic (is it powered? Is IT???) when the UB-440 went on sale so I took the leap. WOW! Easy to work with. No drivers; plug 'n play. Volume ON THE MIC is just all kinds of convenient. Headphone jack is audio from the computer (not a mic pass-through) and also has a volume slider. The day I unboxed it a choir of jackhammers and construction crews moved into my neighborhood, and the mic managed to dampen most of that noise out while capturing my voice clearly, and thehot distance is pretty forgiving as long as you are within it's sensitivity cone. I didn't buy the add on pop guard and foam back, but I'm shopping for generic since the mic is more sensitive than I'm use to. Happy with it! ... More

I'm an audio pro and I regularly use very high end special application mics for film and studio recording. This mic came to me as part of a bundle because I just don't use mics like this normally, but I plugged it in and gave it a try just for giggles and I was genuinely startled at how good it is for a mic in this class. I do not hesitate to recommend it to people for webcasts and next level podcasting and videoconferencing needs. Very clean and clear.
Not great for podcasting in a home studio

I was going to use this for podcasting (assumed it would work because it came in a Podcasting Bundle) but it's wayyyyy too sensitive even with the reflection filter. It picks up noise from other rooms, cars and airplanes going by outside, even noise from my neighbors talking inside their apartment next door. Stick with the Yeti if you're using it for podcasting since that one is great at only picking up noise that's right in front of the mic.

This is the best microphone I've ever owned and it's also amazing for the price as well. I've gone through many in my time but this one nothing holds a candle to especially combined with a pop filter and reflection filter. The desktop stand for it looks cheap but it holds it's own for what most use it for. I hooked it up to a more heavy duty stand as I use it for guitar and story narration. Lots of options, amazing sound quality and the overall build quality is astounding.

This mic is excllent. Built solid- metal case, mesh and stand it will stand up to years of use. Sound quality is excellent. Having the built in pre-amp is great. Also the headphone jack is really handy. I was disappointed by the Elements software that was bundled as part of a deal. It was not clear this is not a standalone audio editing program, but rather a bolt-in to other software packages I do not have. That made a fantastic deal only a decent price on an excellent mic.

Good mic. There are some high end artifacting when I record with it, it's nothing I can't pull out in post but it proves to be a bit annoying. Otherwise for the price and convenience of a usb microphone this is the best.

The UB-440 Professional USB Microphone by Senal is truly the best USB desktop microphone I have ever used. I have two, one for each work station used for animation and video production. The voice quality is superb.

I was unhappy with using the microphone in my laptop for Zoom sessions, hosting webinars, etc. The Senal UB-440 kit really improved my sound in these settings, and the included Auray shield really cut the roominess of the sound. It greatly reduced the echo/reverberation off room walls. Al in all, it delivers as advertised.

I bought this item to be very displeased in return. From day one the mic has a hum and hiss on every and anything I plug into. Despite all the troubleshooting I went through, it still doesn't work. I was sent a defective and useless mic, sitting on my shelf with a "frowned face" because no one can use it !! B&H rarely disappoint, but this time ! They pushed the button.... Uuuggrrrr !!!

I have been in Pro Audio for close to 30 years. I'm one of those crazy people that hoped Tube Amps would come back {A Long Time Ago}. I have allot of Condenser Mics (I prefer not to pull out to allow (Un-known Guest Presenters or the occasional Loan to a Friend. This fits both, Great Enough for me and certainly those other uses!

I had been using a snowball mike. This is 1000x better. I use it with the reflection filter, and it sounds like I am working in a sound-proofed studio.

Good mic for online work. Easy to set up and software quickly recognizes it. One weakness though, USB cable can disconnect too easily from bottom of mic. Need to always have a strain relief.

I purchased this mic for recording my five year old guitar lessons which works great, now I'm thinking about doing an audio blog, seems to me there are very few limitations for this mic.

Mic, Pre-Amp, and Headphone Amp in an all-in-one package! Nice to be able to use a USB mic without the need for a separate pre-amp. Really like the headphone jack incorporated into the unit with separate gain controls for the headphone volume.

As good or better than the bigger brand names, great sound, plug in connection, easy to use. Size is bigger than it looks in picture but it comes with it's stand and works great!
