I Enjoy It. Just thought they had a on off switch to disconnect. got to unplug to disconnect. nobs are lose, jiggle, and are cheap plastic. mute button was not center or horizontal. switches are lose. Threads are very delicate and damage easy. might be made out of aluminum. i moved mine to a shock mount and boom arm, first couple threads bent because it would not seat properly. i am delicate, i have other mics. overall price is just a tad bit high. Be delicate if you dont have insurance. Always GET insurance On Mics Thery Are Finicky Things In General. Still have to see what type of interfacing this mic can handle, and what programs work well. a excellent choice for podcasting and singing, quality audio. Plenty Of Accessory's!! I thought it was going to be smaller, turned out to be a good size, think like Conon O'brian's. Mesh netting is great, housing is sturdy, ecellent paint job, an good choices for signals, just wish the switches an toggles were better. The stand it comes with is sturdy and should keep your mic from falling over even from a decent accidental bump. The Cheap Threads is one Thing That was dissapointing. like if you plan on going to peoples places for jam sessions and recordings for podcasts, those threads going to wear out fast af. so if your keeping it in one place on one mount you good if not.... maybe have them replaced or have a thread extention adpter thing to keep on the threads. The headphone amp in the mic does weird things to the audio that goes through it. Makes it dark and attenuates it some. Makes the in game audio sound robotic sort of... It could just be the USB lag? I switched back to my motherboard audio out. I got no comments from friends online about my voice sounding darker (than my Blue Yeti) as some reviews I had read state is the case. I bought this mic because I wanted an interface for my guitar to the PC. Have not tried that yet. It is a very heavy duty build. Unlike my Blue Yeti, the mute button works first push every time. All in all, I am satisfied with this mic for gaming (Discord) audio. I would give it 5 stars if not for the headphone amp in the mic doing weird things to the in game audio. ... More

Very well designed USB microphone with versatile inputs and operation. I am a microphone junkie, and I build my own microphones from components, modifying and improving circuits, for custom performance, and I LIKE this microphone as it comes right out of the box. The controls and extra audio/instrument input is useful and the headphone output sounds good with zero latency. WELL MADE, DURABLE and heavy, this one is built to last . The solid, heavy base minimizes or eliminates self-noise, resonance and vibration. The original GTrack was excellent, and this updated Pro model is even better, with larger diaphragm capsule and improved audio circuit. I have a large number of microphones, including hand-built large diaphragm condensers - but the GTrack stays connected to my computer for speech voice over and speech recognition applications. ... Such a fantastic mic! Super solid and makes for really easy setup (literally plug & play) with awesome quality sound. I've been looking for a mic to take my sound healing services online during this time... This is it! I love the 2nd 1/4 channel option to plug in an additional instrument/mic - it's brilliant! Using it for virtual sound sessions has really helped to upgrade my sound quality (with specific audio settings in my app). I also love that I can plug a lav mic in to pick up my soft voice for guided meditation/toning while using the main mic near my singing bowls. Can't wait to play with it for some ASMR experiments. Once I got a working device, it worked great. Although, Ive only had it for a few days and will update this review if there are further issues. The first unit I received produced a ton of noise when recording. When I compared it to other recording online, I knew I had a faulty device. So, I returned it. Then I saw it on their Hot Deals for $70, so I ordered a second. That units microphone worked great but its headphone output for monitoring didnt work at all (the first units did). So I sent that one back for a new one. The third unit has none of the issues the first two had. Im super grateful for B&Hs ease of returning/exchanging products. However, all of the boxes I received were slightly damaged and had clearly be opened before. I dont know why this is the case and I hope B&H isnt knowingly sending out defective products which have previously been returned. ... More

I was a little disappointed with the G Track Pro. I love Samson products, but really was hoping this mic would have similar characteristics to a Blue Yeti, but have a better sound. It unfortunately suffers from the same tinny sound you get from many condenser mics. So perhaps I set my standards too high. Otherwise it's a beautiful mic and very well built. The real prize for me in this package was the headphones. They're everything you could want in a good pair of reference headphones. Great sound, comfortable and if you buy them on their own, they're a very good value. B&H says in the listing that they're valued at $79, but they sell them individually for $45. ... More

The iMac internal mic is not great. The cheap USB mic I got to replace it worked ok with many OBS Studio audio filters. The G-Track Pro works in OBS with just the noise gate filter as all it needs and that's just to suppress my keyboard sounds. Nice. I have the silver one. I like the color. Overall, I'd recommend this mic. Oh, I have it sitting on one of those giant desk/mouse pads and it seems to help with the bump on the desk noise as it provides extra padding below its own stand which already has a small pad under the base. BTW I always wanted to know the base diameter and it is 4 9/16 (that just a tad over 4.5 inches across to be lazy.) ... More

This microhpone is really good but there are two things that i dislike about this microphone. First, it gains noise when you turn up the gain volume. Second, it doesnt come with a mic stand adapter and i don't know what to do beacuse i cant find where to buy this adapter.

Great desktop USB microphone for online music transmission. It is heavy and stable on the desktop, great as an audio interface / mixer. Several people have commented to me on the clarity of the microphone and have ordered it themselves based on the quality of my transmissions. This is the second one of these that I have purchased.

The G-Track was on back order due to high demand. B&H kept me up to date every week on the status. After receiving the G-Track........I understand why it was on back order. Very good usb mic and is housed in a solid frame. Voice recordings are very good. I use it while traveling....and this mic does the job.
For me, it's a step up from the Blue Yeti

Perfect for podcasting and recording videos. This mic is build much better than the Blue Yeti. Over time, you won't have to worry about the cord connection loosening at the bottom (which will affect your audio quality) like you will the Yeti. Samson was the first to market with the USB mic (from what I've read), and this model will not disappoint if you're looking to stay within the $100 range.

This is my 2nd purchase of this amazing mic! My first one is black, but this goes into my new studio and matches the girly theme without scrimping on audio quality. For my uses, I love the stand, I don't have to purchase and struggle with adjusting an arm/boom apparatus. Makes my set-up nice and neat!

I love this mic so much! It's simplified the process of recording and I love using it for playing live. In a covid-19 world, we're holding open mics and concerts live and this mic is the perfect way to pre-mix my guitar. I've already had another friend purchase this for her in-home set up for recording and sharing videos. I highly recommend this!

An incredible value for the Samson G-Track Pro and the headphones which are also of high-quality, and super comfortable. I'm glad I picked up this set. While I originally wanted the black Samson G-Track Pro, the silver looks much more like a statement microphone and looks good on streams, photos, etc. It gives style to my recording setup!

After extensive research, I purchased the Samson G-track PRO USB mic. The controls on the front are a definite plus and the mic is very responsive, easy to set up, and it sounds great! If you are in the market to make your ZOOM calls a higher quality, your youtube videos better, or just want a good USB mic this is the one for you!

This microphone does what I need -- that is, it provides excellent omni-directional pick up in the classroom and feeds the sound directly into Zoom so that my at-home students can hear everything. My only complaint is that this is quite heavy to carry from classroom to classroom with me.

The Samson G-Track Pro is an amazing microphone, especially when considering the price. It is extremely affordable and provides studio quality recordings. The 1/4 input is also a nice addition for instrumentalists, such as myself, too record. Overall, a great addition!

Amp up you remote work from home game. This microphone is industrial strength, and may last a useful lifetime. A point of consideration is that if using a boom arm, you may need a 10 foot USB cord. The packaged cord is only 7 ft.
