I didn't read the specifics in detail - dont make the same mistake as me! i was just looking for cheap headphones but didn't realise it is a really long cable for use in a studio I assume...so when i am walking around town i have to bundle it up or stuff it in my pocket so I dont trip over it. Just v. impractical for what I want the headphones for. The sound is low as well so I had to download a sound booster app on my phone when I am using them. Bought these to listen to MP3 music on the PC and to play F1 2010 on the Xbox without annoying the wife. The sound is clear and crisp, at this price well worth the money.

Bought these to plug into my TV so that I can listen in comfort and not hear the noise from the "semi-professional?" singer next door rehearsing his act at the top of his voice. Independent volume contol means I can tweek them up and down depending on how "enthusiastic" he is getting. My husband has a set also so we can listen to the TV at our own prefered levels and needs. Great price too.

the sound quality is as good as most..they are a bit lightweight and I have reservations as to their durability..the adapters on the jack is a good idea but to be on the safe side when recording and listening and generally working with them I have looped the leads from the ear phones and taped them back in case they are pulled as does happen when working with them. There is always a tendency to get caught up in the leads and most damage is caused by accidental pulling on the cable at the ear cups and at the jack..this can be avoided with using a small piece of p.v.c.tape and looping the cables at the head set and at the jack...this should be helpfull in protecting your warranty. ... Bought these for my husband to use with his laptop when he was listening to music. His old ones broke. Was really surprised with the quality for the money. With his old ones I could still hear the music when he was sitting next to me, but with these Panasonic ones I can't hear a thing. He says they are really comfortable and the sound quality is very good. Why pay more when these do the job very well.

I bought these headphones in order to listen to items on the internet while my wife is watching tv. The 3 metre cord length also enables me to listen to high volume programmes on the tv while my wife is reading.The price was very good for the quality of the headphones.all in all very happy.

Panasonic Headphones were okay for the price. Not as comfortable as I had hoped but the sound quality is clear and has a nice bass levels My only real gripe with this product is the long cord is constantly tangled which is very annoying..

At this price, they are unbeatable. Yes, they may not be 'designer', but who cares when they sound this good at this price point. Also, the included adaptor to use them with a 1/4" output jacks on real hi-fi systems is a plus.

I bought these to attach in my speaker wires so the sound goes through these to as well as speakers, I have a neighbour downstairs that sometimes plays loud music and next door neighbour with a barking dog! So when in the living room I can hear the TV! Sound is good and design.

These are not as comfortable as previous Panasonic models I have owned but the sound is as good or better. Nowhere near as comfortable as Sennheiser or the equivalent Sony. Good value for money hence 4 ****. Reasonable cable length for TV use (but not as long as specified in the description). Finally a single side cable input would be less fiddly and more robust.
No good for TV, volume quieter than a whisper.

Bought to listen to TV and for that job they are USELESS. The volume coming through the earphones, even when the internal volume control is at max is quieter than a whisper. Please avoid if you want to plug them into a TV. It will save you the hassle of returning them and getting a refund as I have done.

l Love these head phones. They have built in base boost so that is brill for me. The comfortable ear muffs are detachable so I can listen to my music, or the TV late at night when I cant sleep through one ear, and listen out for my baby monitor with the other. Really long lead so no snagging when I walk around the room wearing them. And the volume control is in a really handy place.

I bought these on-ear headphones because of the low cost and to use with my computer at work. The sound is underwhelming and I have to set the sound level to its highest on the computer to just about hear. On the plus side they are comfortable, however my recommendation would be to pay a bit more for better audibility.

This was recommended to me by my daughter who was fed- up with me borrowing hers. It is just the right length for me and so soft, that I fell asleep with it on my ears. The sound is clear and the volume control very easy to use. The price is also reasonable.

I bought these to plug into an amplifier when practising guitar. Headphones are a comfortable fit and the long cable is ideal. Sound quality is reasonable, but nothing special (some but not a lot of bass is one thing I notice). All in all, given the price paid, long cable, and comfortable fit, this item does just what I needed.

I normally use expensive wireless headphones but due to going on a long trip with little space and the need for a "jack pin" I decided to purchase these Panasonic RPHT225 on ear headphones with the view of throwing them away when I return and the thought of, sound quality will be horrendous. But to my surprise the sound quality was actually quite good. Very lightweight and light cheap Plastic, Very long lead and good sound quality. definitely will buy again.

A lot of my summer hours are spent on the mower keeping our 2 acres under control. Ilisten to talk radio mainly and the noisy mower engine demands good noise suppression from the headphones. These meet all my requirements - they are light and comfortable, have effective, controllable bass and treble, and I can clearly hear the radio talk above the (very) noisy mower engine.
