Used with the Sennheiser transmitter this mike is the best there is for interviews. It is shock mounted so you can't hear handling noise. It has a clear sound. It minimizes sound in crowded rooms and the intended speaker is clear as a bell. It is built as solid as a rock.

I used this microphone on a daily basis in my many years in broadcast news. When I moved into government, the first thing I did was to order one of these mics, because of its durability and that the sound is and always has been crystal clear and true to the original voice.

I know nothing about mics and was considering getting different types of mics especially on a budget. I went on the red carpet worried that I was going to have to put the mic so close to my interviewee but I was wrong. The mic was great , the sound came out great and I have no regrets.

Great ENG Mic! I shot an interview using this mic in a very crowded room. I was astonished by how clear the recordings were. The background noise was still present but was at a much lower level than I expected.

I used this for some red carpet interviews and the sound quality was incredibly! It focused just on the interviewe and all of hte background voices (which there were a lot of) were at a very low hum. It went above and beyond my expectations.

This was needed to replace an older mike that broke. The system is older and a new mike was hard to find! This mike and a little adapter did the trick!

use this product every day doing interviews outside and it works perfectly. I change my sennheiser md-42 because did not fit well with my Lectrosonic wireless sistem and now i do not have that problem any more.

I use this microphone daily for news gathering. This is a very durable microphone, the only reason we ever have to by new RE50s is due to the paint chipping off. These microphones have been dropped, kicked, covered in mud, and still keep working.

After reading great reviews about this product I was looking forward to testing it out. I have used it for some interviews as well as setting it up on a boom pole to capture dialogue. It is definitely the go to Mic for ENG and indie films.

As promised, this mic has remarkably little handling noise. Great when working with a less experienced on-air person. The tonal quality could be better but I knew that before purchasing it.
