These earbuds work really well. They’re comfortable in my ear even when laying on them. They stay put. One has fallen out two times total, and one of those times I knocked it out by accidentally hitting the stem while reaching up. The sound is really good. These come with the sound feature that makes the sound seem directional. In other words, for the first couple days, I kept pulling them out to make sure they were working because the sound from the earbuds seemed like it was coming from my phone. It makes the viewing experience seem more natural. These are not the noise cancelling kind. I can still hear what’s going on around me, which is how I want it. I can hear if someone needs to talk to me without anyone having to yell. I can hear my environment well enough to be safe, but not so it ruins my listening experience. The sound is crisp and clear. They’re rated to last 4 hours before needing to be recharged, but I’ve gone a little longer. They seem to peter out one at a time, so you can actually charge the dead one and continue using the other one and then switch when the second one goes. This has been helpful for marathon phone conversations. I don’t think this works for listening to content because pulling out one earbud causes the content to pause - another cool feature since you don’t have to find the pause button when you need to stop for a minute. It automatically stops for you and picks right back up when you put the earbud back in. Do you can accomplish the pause by pulling out just one bud. You can always squeeze the post to pause as well. They charge up quickly in the case. The case charges quickly as well (and lasts at least 30 hours between charges). I bought a silicone case for mine and they still charge easily on the charging mat. They can also charge using a regular lightning cord. I’ve done both with no problem. They do work with you Find My app, but I think it’s just the case that it finds. This is a problem if you’re bad about taking them out of your ears and just leaving them around the house. No handy ping for that. I’ve dropped mine a few times. They seem pretty sturdy - no cracks or other damage. I love that my jack is now free so I can charge and listen at the same time. I really like these. ... More

Let's start with the positives: 1. Very comfortable fit to the ear. You can easily engage in any active actions without fear that the headphones will fall out of your ear. Despite the fact that these are in-ear headphones, you get used to them quickly enough and they do not cause a feeling of discomfort. 2. Sound quality. Apple was able to surprise with the presence of various modes in this model. If you want to be aware of everything that is happening around and at the same time listen to music, then the transparency mode just helps out. And vice versa, if you need to abstract from all the noise around you, then the "noise reduction mode" comes to the rescue. The sound quality itself, I think, is at a high level. Of course, it always matters what to compare with, but at this price point and with all the features that they have, I think it's worthy. 3. Autonomy My headphones, given that I actively use them, after a year and a half, they still hold their charge perfectly. Until now, there was no moment that they would just sit down with me, I always manage to control it. Considering that you see the battery status almost every time you connect to the phone. Now let's go through the cons, although they are not significant: 1. Case body material. Everyone always wants something to remain in its original form and not scratched or erased. So this is not about them! If you vilify these headphones for a month without a case, the case will become nervously dull. Why nervously? Yes, because even just in an empty pocket they manage to get scratched. Therefore, I recommend wearing it in a case or just give it to customization and paint. 2. There are 3 sizes of pads in total. I really wish that everyone could find the perfect overlay for themselves. Ear canals may differ, and fit is very important in AirPods Pro, otherwise there is simply no point in all modes. But there are only 3 sizes in the box, I had to order pads for them from third-party manufacturers. In general, something like this) I hope it was useful) ... More

Better mic quality of all Airpods

As I make lots of phone calls, the mic performance is the only thing I care about and I have gone through all the major earbuds on the market. If you own an Android device, look elsewhere as Airpods on Android sounds different, but for any iOS device, nothing beats Airpods. I currently own 2nd gen AirPods, 3rd gen AirPods, and Airpods Pro. The following experience is based on an iOS device. In a quiet environment, all three perform quite similarly. If I have to choose, Pro would be #1, followed very closely by the 3rd gen. Airpods Pro In a noisy environment, Pro is hit or miss. Pro's mic tries really hard to cancel every noise around you. When it works, your voice is very clear, but sometimes the mic randomly cancels your voice along with the noise. So when the other caller can hear you, they can hear you really well or hear nothing at all time to time. 2nd gen In a noisy environment, the mic picks up lots of noise and doesn't cancel along with your voice. The other caller can identify that you are in a noisy environment, yet you can continue the conversation without major distraction. 3rd gen Just like the 2nd gen, it picks up lots of noise around you but sounds a little crisper. After using the 3rd gen for a while, I went back to the 2nd gen and the other caller mentioned how muted I sounded. Case sizewise, 3rd gen is very similar to the 2nd gen but maybe 2-3mm wider and fatter. The Pro case is just the biggest of all. Overall, I would choose the 3rd gen for any phone calls and the Pro for any listening purposes. The 2nd gen is just great for the price. ... More

I purchased these as I was using a wired setting that was not working properly due to the wire making my sound cut out when I moved so I took the hit £ and upgraded. These have been a great improvement sound quality is decent and there so easy to use no set up basically I just pair them with Bluetooth on your phone and your good to go they also recolour when they have been taken out your hear which is cool and you can use Siri for message reply’s and talking on the phone as-well as skipping and pausing music. These are ideal for runners and gym users the MagSafe case makes it so they’re always charged as-well and protected. I would say they could improve the Siri option tho as it doesn’t always pick up your voice and it’s not instant when u ask it to do things there’s also no noise cancelling feature which would be nice to add aswell as volume buttons on the tips rather then asking Siri every second or reaching for your phone I am aware the AirPods 2 offer these additional features however the ear tips are bigger and it uses the rubber longer tips so afraid it would fall out my ears as I mainly got these for exercise these do the job maybe the next gen of these could add the features I mentioned to be a 5 star product for now they get a 4 star from me. ... Having had a pair of first generation Airpods, the sound quality wasn’t a huge surprise (I likened my first pair to wireless Bose cans & these didn’t disappoint. As with all Apple products, their build quality is of the highest standard and overall, I think they’re great value for money. The biggest improvement on the original pods is the run-time. I forget the advertised battery length, but I’ve worn them for around 3-hours+ continuously and the battery power is still >50%. You could probably use them all day before needing to recharge and I’ve noticed they charge more rapidly than the first gen (including by wireless, wired or direct case recharge methods). In fact, I have only one little niggle, which in the interest of a balanced & honest review I feel I should mention. The earpiece is broader than my older set, making them a little uncomfortable after a while in my narrow earlobes. However, I remember needing an adjustment period to get used to other ear buds (including AirPods Gen. 1) so I’m sure I’ll get used to it, given time. My small lobes do make them feel a little less securely positioned, making me worry about them falling out, but fixing lanyards or ear hooks can alleviate that. ... More

I love my 1st Gen AirPods. They are so well designed and just work great! So great in fact, that I never upgraded to the 2nd Gen AirPods or the AirPods Pro. Now, the time has come for my 1st Gen AirPods to be retired with these new 3rd Gen AirPods. These new AirPods are everything I liked about the AirPods Pro, but better because I didn't want the ear tips. I love how the 1st Gen AirPods felt in my ears and after awhile, I would forget they are even in my ears. Using these new 3rd Gen AirPods for the first time, I noticed a HUGE difference in sound quality. These are on another level over the 1st Gen. They also connect instantly to my iPhone. The 1st Gen was never this fast and sometimes I even had to manually connect them to my iPhone using the Bluetooth settings menu. They feel just as good in the ear as the 1st Gen did and I really like the shorter stems. Overall, I am really impressed with the 3rd Gen AirPods and would highly recommend upgrading if you are still using the 1st Gen AirPods. ... More

16 yr old daughter bought these with her Birthday/Christmas money, however on opening the box and seeing the actual size they were she said they were too big so we took them back to Argos the next morning for a refund. They refused as the box had been opened (although they had not been used at all). They would not honour the distance selling policy for purchases made on line either, so she ended up keeping them. They would not stay in her ears and she has now swapped with her friend for generation 1 ear pods which are much smaller and a lot cheaper! Not sure how we would have been able to avoid this happening as not able to see them on show anywhere local to us! Definitely not suitable if you have small ears! Cannot comment on sound quality, connectivity or features as they wouldn’t stay in long enough to try them out!! Rather disappointed with Argos on this occasion. ... More

After watching countless reviews about sound quality and features the only thing I was worried about was the fitment but after watching a video that said, “if the previous ones fitted then these will as well”. Well in my case, this isn’t true. I know this won’t be the case for most people but they start to fall out my ears after about 20min of wearing so if you’re a person with smaller ears or that finds most ear phones don’t fit you then these probably won’t either. Bought a few weeks ago, and this purchase was a good decision. Fits in my ear, great sounds quality and good features with it when you use an iPhone. As soon as opening the case it connects automatically. You can also find your airpods through the 'Find My' app. However if you do run with it on, they might fall out and having them on file a long period of time might start hurting your ears. If it doesn't fit you, buy some hooks accessories which also helps when your going to the gym or doing activities.
