Just what I needed

Feb 7, 2018

The M-Audio Bass Traveler is just what I needed. We take bus tours about twice a year. On days where there are wide open spaces we like to watch a movie. Using an audio splitter, the volume is almost sub-audible. This little jewel provide more than enough audio will supreme clarity. The level can be adjusted to a comfortable level. It earned my 5 stars. Everything you need is included.

Jan 26, 2017

I bought headphones for my dvd player but the volume on the player was inadequate since I have a pretty serious hearing loss. found this little amplifier on the internet and thought for the price I might as well give it a shot. great service to Alaska but when I got the little unit I was shocked to see how small it was. all I needed to do after the initial charge was be amazed which I was as to how well the tiny device worked! it does all I was h... Great for HD audio - not for everyone

Dec 28, 2016

I got a set of Sennheiser HD 598CS headphones ($200-$300 price range, for novice's reference). I do home recording and I'm not a particularly talented sound engineer, but I know a little bit. This product is fantastic for high end audio if you've got flac or 20mb/song hi end MP3's on your playlist. These headphones are probably most bought by bass-lovers (rap, electronic, dub) and enjoyed because those styles often intentionally distort low end f... Show More

Great Product

Dec 8, 2016

I bought this for airplane use. My tablet didn't power my headphones well enough to overcome ambient noise in a jet. With this product, my wife AND I can both watch and hear a movie. Product works as advertised and is exactly what I needed.

Great purchase!

This little device gave new life to my otherwise dull sounding headphones. I play bass and I love bass, so this was made especially for me! :-) Would definitely buy again without a second thought!

Awesome Product - Worth Buying

Sep 21, 2016

This product is worth buying if you are looking for Bass Booster with music. Certainly you can feel the better bass from Normal. Also it provides an option to use two outputs from the device at the same time, so you can share same song with another person simultaneously. Though it might degrade the quality of music if used with very cheap headphones or speakers, but overall it will be good. I used this with my Bose Soundtrue on ear headphones and the result was awesome. Definitely a worth buying. I gifted one to my friend also and he was very happy to use it being music lover.

Great for monitoring sound

Aug 15, 2016

I bought this to monitor sound on my canon 70D which doesn't have a headphone jack. This works great. It has a volume control so you raise and lower the sound levels. Small and comes with a cord that is the right length.

does what it says on the tin

Jul 31, 2016

Very nice, compact unit that does exactly what it claims: split a headphone line in two, boosting the volume to each set of headphones. We use it to share a tablet on plane rides (for movie-watching).

Works fine!

Pros: small, lightweight, usb rechargeable. Cons: I would expect more power amplification. There is a tiny white sound. I use them as in-ear personal monitor amplifier for musicians in live sound.

Wasn't What I Was Looking For

Mar 17, 2016

I bought this amp to boost the signal out of my DSLR for monitoring purposes. The product would more accurately be described as a powered distribution amp. It would be great for somebody wanting to send audio to two sets of headphones without losing signal strength or altering impedance. However, for my purposes, it was useless. It did not amplify my signal at all. At maximum volume level, my signal was exactly the same level as it was coming directly from the camera.

Impressive for general use

Dec 27, 2015

I use the beyerdynamic dt 770 250ohm for studio use and my electric drums, if you use them on an ipod or phone there is not enough power to get sufficient volume so i needed a cheap pre-amp.. There is definitely a difference when usin the M-Audio, the bass boost is more impressive than the volume boost which was kind of annoying but now I will use the beyerdynamic's all the time for tv, music on the go, etc.. It's so small you'll barely notice it... Show More
